Use of Sound Effects

Some of the sounds we used were first hand such as all of the dialogue and voice overs but for the audio we could not capture we decided on using sound effects from online.

For the glass smashing sound effect we found that this was the best piece of audio as it was not to loud and was realistic enough to fit the clip.

For the home phone ringing we wanted to use a modern ring tone as we felt a vintage phone ring would be cliche and unrealistic whereas a modern ring would fit the look of the phone and the beat of teh muic.

We used four voice actors to get all of the voice overs, each actor filmed scripted (dialog) and non scripted (shouts, screams etc.) audio. This allowed us to get a range of audio for the trailer and add in any extra audio that was needed.
